Art on Sale

I showed my work at dough auction on Friday; amongst work by some of my favourite and most celebrated artists and illustrators; Benoit Jacques, Nick Saunders, Jean Julien, Kate Moross, Gemma Correl, Hennie Harworth and Ken Garland.
I also showed new work at The Xmas Zine Fair at The Orange Tree.

Old School

Hello, its been some time, I know since I last posted. 
Life has been real busy... I have just completed another commission for Converse.  The story will unfold later!  In the meantime, I have been creating new drawings in the studio with some of my old school favourite printing techniques.

Hidden Shapes

We headed for the forest and discovered shapes, silhouettes and secret hideaways.
This mini autumn heatwave we are having is quite surreal.  An extravaganza of colour, hot sun and dark early evenings, crazy!

Order

Today I tried to create a little more order in my life.

Brick Lane

I dropped some work off in London this weekend.  Spent the rest of the day soaking up the atmosphere in one of my favourite places in London; Brick Lane.

An Early Autumn Day

We followed the markings of a stick that was trailed on a foot path through Derbyshire. This time of year the colours are pretty amazing!  We keep going back to our favourite little spot in Birchover, every visit brings something different.  I hope your weekend was good

The Great Outdoors

What an adventure we had in Norfolk, every season and every visit is so different.
We spent all our time outdoors; mud sliding, gathering bags of samphire, picking raspberries, blackberries and giant strawberries and watching the stars at night.

Into the Woods

Into the Woods we go!!!
We made a journey stick, to record our footsteps through the woods, meadows and past the water.
This will be my last post before we head out to Norfolk. I will be back soon!!

Time is Ticking

The summer holidays are passing by very quickly!  We go to Norfolk soon for a break, I hope to come back with a sketchbook full of ideas, a great collection of photographs and some interesting beach finds.

Packaging

I have been working on some obi ideas for packaging my prints.  I seem to do lots of packaging and posting these days!  Here's a lovely packaged which came for me today from my lovely neighbour.

Black Rock

We headed out to Black Rock today and walked along the old train line. We did some gem panning at the stone center and discovered lots of hidden treasures. 
I am getting my work ready to feature in the window of Design Circus, West Bridgford.  My new collection will be on show and ready to purchase from the 6th September!!!

A Charming Weekend

We collected our little family from Yorkshire and headed back home. Time for some quality time together, as four again.

Mini Meadow

We returned back to where my very first collection began, five years ago!!
How the little people have grown.  We created mini meadows for the mini beasts to live and have fun in. A magical moment!
