time for tea

Colour is bursting out all over our garden! It's the first spring that we have been here so everything that grows is a new discovery. We have planted potatoes, radishes and parsnips so far and there is room for much more.

I plan to tie my new print series together this week and start my new collection of paintings for Holmfirth Artweek, but first a cup of well loved Tea.......

I had a very inspirational trip to London!

I met with a writer at 'Patisserie Valerie on Old Compton Street to discuss illustrating a childrens book... very exciting, more pages will unfold later!

I gathered thoughts, ideas and sketches for my exciting new collection which I will be launching very soon. I will be selling my new product through selected galleries and in my shop online. watch this space..........

I took a little time out and went to visit friends in Bristol. We soaked up the culture, fabulous places to eat and did a little shopping....

Jack Purcell Commission

I was commissioned by Converse to create four pieces around the heritage and personality of Jack Purcell, to celebrate the franchise’s 75th anniversary.

The final pieces are on show now at the Pitti Uomo exhibition in Florence, Italy http://www.pittimmagine.com/en/homef.php. A presentation pack of postcards of my illustrations has also been produced to support the show... I will post this later
