Bone China

Heres the production line for my new range of limited edition ceramics for Nottingham Contemporary.
We had a great bike ride this weekend, the children managed 12 miles!!! The sun shone for once, I guess it is summer after all .

Haddon Hall

We visited Haddon Hall today in Derbyshire, a long awaited visit and well worth the wait!
An amazing medival hall nestled in the hills of Derbyshire.  The paintings in the chapel, dated back 600 years, they looked some what modern and very current. Her are some snapshots my favourite details.

Findings

Ive been hunting for treasure today and followed the Newark Antiques Trail. Here are some snippets of inspirations from my findings. 
I met some interesting people along the way, must pay another visit again soon and add more photographs to my collection.  Watch out for part two.

Fine Little Day

A great little day was had today, we headed back to the Yorkshire hills where I was invited to show some of my new paintings at the ever famous Holmfirth Artweek.  
We had dinner at The Vineyard Restaurant and sampled some of Holmfirths finest wine from the seven acre vineyard that nestled in the hills below the restaurant in the amazing Holme Valley.

Art in the Garden

The sun shone on Janet's and Pete's garden today as they launched their venture The Refectory Table http://therefec.moonfruit.com/. A collection of artist and crafts people gathered to eat cake and share thoughts, ideas and research. I finally got the chance to meet Maxine and her lovely flock of birds http://www.maxgreerdesign.co.uk/

Norfolk in the Woods

Here are a few photos I took whilst away in lovely Norfolk. Good food, good music, good company and sadly wet weather.
We discovered these amazing tree pod hideaways in the woods near Holt Hall!
